Colorado Center for Aging (CCA) Advocacy Training gives you the tools you need to advocate on legislative issues at the Capitol. We are about to embark on the 2024 Legislative Session and this training will help you to be well equipped to advocate with Colorado legislators. Learn how to register as a Citizen Advocate, how a bill becomes a law, how to read a bill, how to read a fiscal note, how to talk with legislators, how to testify in person or on-line, and much more.

Our event is on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 10AM to Noon. We will be at the Capitol in downtown Denver located at 200 Colfax in Room 357 (Senate Health and Human Services meeting room, third floor). Cost for this event is $25 per person. A limited number of scholarships are available for this training.
