CCA Advocacy Committee Meeting
On Monday, August 8, 2022 the CCA Advocacy Committee will be meeting. This will be a virtual meeting using the Zoom platform.

During the summer and fall the CCA Advocacy Committee will be meeting the 2nd and 4th Mondays from 9:30AM to 11:00AM/11:30AM. Newcomers are welcome. Please send us an email if you are a first time visitor.

At our CCA Advocacy Committee Meetings we take a deeper look into legislature and policies that impact older adults in Colorado. During the summer months, we are researching issues and preparing for the next legislative session. During the active legislative session, we are tracking actual bills and voting to take positions on the bills and then as needed, following through and contacting legislators with our thoughts and opinions on the bills. When we vote on bills to follow, support or oppose, only members can participate in the vote, however we welcome visitors to our meetings and they can listen and hopefully become interested in our work and join CCA so they can participate fully in our work.

Our CCA Advocacy Committee Meeting eNewsletter with agenda is sent out on the Sunday before a Monday morning meeting so the newsletter will be going out twice a month during the summer and fall.
